AMP Capital have today announced that Supriya Edwards has been appointed to the role of fixed income analyst.
The analyst role became available to support Carrick Lucas and Tim Mobray as they stepped up their portfolio manager responsibilities following the recent departure of senior portfolio manager, Warren Potter.
Based in Wellington, Edwards will be supporting the New Zealand fixed income team in the active management of cash and fixed income portfolios. This includes utilising tools to enhance portfolio construction and conducting analysis to help drive the team’s research capability and fixed income strategy.
Edwards has been with AMP Capital since 2014 as an investment performance analyst. Prior to that she was with BNP Paribas in a performance and compliance role, and Asteron Life in unit pricing and administration roles. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Applied Finance from Victoria University and recently qualified as a CFA Charterholder.
