In a series of announcements from the asset management company, Alvarium has revealed that it has bolstered its team with two new directors – both from BNZ.
This week Kevin McLean (pictured left) joined Alvarium NZ as director – private wealth. McLean spent almost 12 years as a partner with BNZ Private Bank, providing private banking, financial and investment advice to high-net-worth clients.
He is well known in the New Zealand financial advice industry with a career that spans more than 30 years.
McLean has worked with New Zealand and international fund management organisations, private banking and advised on portfolio design and construction for both traditional equity, bond and alternative investment strategies.
Nish Vyas (pictured right) joined Alvarium Wealth in 2020 as director – private wealth after working at Westpac Private Wealth and BNZ Private Bank for 17 years looking after high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Vyas is an authorised financial adviser (AFA) and has a post graduate diploma in personal financial planning from the University of Waikato. He is also a certified financial planner.
Outside of work Vyas is a keen tennis player and has represented India in table tennis at the Commonwealth Games.
