Westpac has followed ANZ and increased its floating rates by 50 basis points following last week's OCR announcement.

However, it has also increased fixed rates. The increases are 10 basis points to all fixed rates, except the one year term.

The two-year special rate is now 5.75%, while the two-year standard rate is 6.35%

ASB has joined in lifting its variable rate up from 6.85% to 7.35% while the ORBIT home loan rate will move from 6.95% to 7.45%.
