Maritz joins Mercer investment consulting team

Mercer Investment Consulting has appointed Ursula Maritz to the position of senior investment consultant based in Mercer’s Auckland office. She will provide investment advice to corporate super schemes, trust funds and other wholesale clients as well as being responsible for the business development of Mercer’s multi-manager implemented consulting vehicle.

Maritz joins Mercer from Foord Asset Management in Cape Town, South Africa, where she had responsibilities in business development and portfolio management. She was previously with Old Mutual Asset Managers where she was a senior portfolio manager and responsible for its multi-manager investment product range.

Maritz holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
