Former Commerce Commission chairwoman Paula Rebstock has been appointed chairwoman of the Insurance & Savings Ombudsman (ISO) scheme.
She will take up the position from October 1 when current chairwoman Alison Timms completes her term.
The ISO scheme was pivotal in the Government's plans to reform the finance sector and provide free and independent consumer redress, the office of the ISO said.
