If you get an email purporting to be from the Reserve Bank, asking you to click a link to view “new transaction guidelines”, ignore it.
RBNZ is warning that a scam is being circulated around businesses in the financial sector.
The email includes a link to view new guidelines.
It was not sent by the RBNZ and the link could expose recipients to a virus.
