There is still little happening with home loan rate changes at the moment. A lot of focus is on the next set of REINZ data, which should be out tomorrow. In particular it should show that the Reserve Bank's latest lending restrictions are starting to bite, if not in prices, certainly in sales volumes.
As one economist said; "We know it will confirm the egregious state of the housing market but we will be looking keenly, nonetheless, for evidence that recent LVR announcements are starting to have some impact on the numbers."
