Ponzi-scheme operator David Ross, this week, appealed his minimum non-parole period in jail.
He was sentenced to 10 years 10 months in jail with a minimum non-parole period of five years and five months.
His lawyer argued, in the Court of Appeal this week the non-parole period should be reduced. He said the original term was manifestly excessive.
A spokesman for investors said there was a lot of anger against the appeal. The judges’ reserved their decision.
