Last year the platform onboarded 11 new clients.
Before appointing NZXWT, PWA conducted a comprehensive review of available service providers, working through a detailed consultation process to ensure it could implement the right technology and support framework to enhance its client services, create operational efficiencies, and position its business for long-term growth.
PWA director and adviser Jack Powell says; “NZXWT’s structured approach, clear communication, and tailored platform solution has delivered an efficient and future-ready operating model for our team and clients. NZXWT’s deep industry knowledge and commitment to understand our business requirements made all the difference.” Mr Powell says.
“We have achieved significant operational efficiencies, and have added value to our clients in the form of a modern, New Zealand-focused investment platform. It is reassuring to know the platform is evolving in a way that genuinely supports the needs of New Zealand financial advisers, ensuring we remain well-positioned for the future.”
NZXWT has also delivered the first half of a comprehensive platform migration for Christchurch-based advice firm, Fortitude Financial. The balance of the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Fortitude Financial director and adviser Tim Gibb, says, “As we move through the various stages of this project, our confidence in the NZXWT platform and team has been continually reinforced. We are already seeing the benefits of the new platform and are excited to move forward with NZXWT as we grow our business.”
NZXWT has a strong onboarding pipeline projected for the next 18 months. With two emerging advice businesses joining the platform in quarter one of 2025 alongside PWA and Fortitude Financial, NZXWT has also secured another two established advice businesses who will transition onto the NZXWT platform during 2025.
To support NZXWT’s growth, the business has implemented key organisational changes: Mark Oldridge has been appointed chief operating officer, with Stephen Jonas having transitioned into the role of chief client officer.
