Fidelity names new CEO

Nadine Tereora, who formerly headed up Asteron Life is Fidelity's new CEO.

Chairman Ian Braddock says Tereora is a well-known and highly respected figure in the financial services sector. She joined Suncorp in 2012 and most recently led Asteron Life as chief executive and executive general manager. In Suncorp's recent restructure, she became its executive general manager of customer experience.

“Nadine brings to the role extensive experience, proven business acumen and a focus on driving transformation and growth through sound strategy. She is a visionary business leader and her appointment signals the start of an exciting new chapter for the company,” says Braddock.

Before joining Suncorp, she held a number of senior financial services positions including chief operating officer at AIA New Zealand and several senior roles at Sovereign.
