NZ sharemarket down 0.5%, AIA down 2.5%

The S&P/NZX 50 Index was weaker in the afternoon and closed at 12,928.38, down 74.66 points or 0.57% after reaching an intraday low of 12,879.28.
Volumes were again improved, with 30.9 million share transactions worth $127.14m.
No need to hurry
Across the Tasman, the S&P/ASX 200 Index had risen 0.6% to 8,497.7 points (at 6pm NZ time), beating the previous record of 8,495.2 set on Dec 3.
