Simplicity is the key to a revamped website for property investors.
Mortgagenet promises a response within the hour to any queries submitted online (this operates 8am to 11pm New Zealand time, seven days a week). Queries are sent by airnote to a mobile mortgage manager and answered either by phone or email.
Mortgagenet also features a ratewatch service - key in your ideal interest rate and they’ll contact you when they find it – as well as an interest rate barometer for a quick look at rate moves.
Site author Kieran Trass says the latest version of mortgagenet, unveiled this week, is the third since it was launched in 1997. This time the focus is heavily visual, with a few technological twists as well as useful articles and links for investors.
The site’s new features add to a burgeoning supply of online services for borrowers and property investors (see our recent stories on E-Loan and IntelMortgage Financial Services).
