The Taxation (GST, Trans-Tasman Imputation and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2003 is a watershed for the treatment of GST within the financial services industry. There are new rules around zero-rating, claiming input tax credits and the treatment of adjustments as well as complex imported services provisions.CCH, in association with Buddle Findlay, are running a seminar series on how to deal with these GST changes.
“If the new legislation is prompting you to ask more questions than you have answers, then this comprehensive seminar is just what you need,” CCH managing director Sharon Bennett says.
The seminar is presented by Alastair McKenzie and Eugen Trombitas.
It will be held in Auckland on 18 February 2004.
