Under the agreement New Zealand Home Loans will be offering and promoting branded Bluestone Mortgages’ lending products through its distribution network of 26 franchises located throughout the country.
“This relationship is the first of it's kind within the industry," Bluestone Mortgages NZ General Manager Peter Wood says. "It means that New Zealand Home Loans will be able to cater to a wider group of people including the self-employed, people with past or present credit issues, new immigrants and other niche groups.
“Offering our services through such a well-known business as New Zealand Home Loans will also raise the profile of specialist lending which in turn will ensure that more people become aware of the borrowing options that are available to them.
New Zealand Home Loans Founder and chief executive John Erkkila says the company is always looking at ways to expand and improve its offerings to clients.
He says NZ Home Loans will be able to deal with a wider range of clients.
“Overall our objective is to help clients reduce their debt faster and individually develop a personalised debt management system for each customer." With Bluestone now in the mix it can help clients achieve goals such as business capital, debt consolidation and investment.
