Finsia to host a Post Budget Analysis

What will be the ‘real impact’ on NZ’s finance industry?The Government, Opposition and a leading Chief Economist will conduct a post budget analysis, exploring the real impacts it will have on the local financial services sector, as part of Finsia’s forthcoming ‘Government Speaks’ Series to be held in Auckland on Wednesday 6 June 2007.
Proudly sponsored by Buddle Findlay, this leading industry event will feature ‘a Post Budget Analysis – a health check-up for NZ’$ economy’, exploring the key implications of the Budget for the finance industry, the Government’s perspective, and the notion of ensuring NZ's economy is in good health.
Delegates will hear insightful opinions from high profile experts including:
- The Hon Trevor Mallard MP, Associate Minister of Finance
- The Hon Bill English MP, Deputy Leader, National Party and Finance Spokesperson
- Mr Tony Alexander, Chief Economist, Bank of New Zealand

During the event Finsia will also launch new industry opinion polling of the finance sector's own analysis of the Budget, conducted by Roy Morgan Research.
In the second of Finsia’s new ‘Government Speaks’ networking series, the aim is to raise the industry’s level of awareness about key regulatory, policy and legislative changes and market trends and provide a forum for constructive dialogue.
