Provide learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify the issues and processes involved in personal risk management (insurance), and to provide advice on effective strategies to mitigate risk. It includes:- instruction in the basic skills of personal risk planning as practiced throughout the industry
- an understanding of the different insurance products available in New Zealand
A compulsory element of the Certificate in Financial Services.
