In Wellington Darrin Bunt has joined the Mortgage Link Hutt Valley office after recently returning from the UK where he completed the qualifications for mortgage advice within their strongly regulated environment.
Bunt aims to establish his own business in the capital using the unique features of the Mortgage Link proposition and has already begun building up referral networks and building his client base.
Brad Haberfield has joined the Mortgage Link Waikato office and is completing his Mortgage Link accreditation as a mortgage adviser having completed the registration process under the Financial Advisers Act. He is also working towards his National Certificate.
"We think our new team members are a good reflection of our group – a new business owner and a new adviser joining a well-established team," said Mortgage Link chief executive Rod Templeton.
"Our industry has had a lot to deal with in recent months with a slow economy, changed lending appetites and the requirements of the new regulation, so to have new people joining is a great sign."
