ASB yesterday gave GFS the Number One Broker award for new money advanced in the year to June 2015.
It is the second year in a row GFS has been handed the gong.
Company founder Ajay Kumar said his firm had also been ANZ's top broker three time in a row, AIA's top broker seven times in a row and had been recognised in the Auckland Indian business awards.
The firm recently won the Excellence in Customer Service award at the Westpac Auckland South Business awards.
Kumar said the firm had experienced 65% lending growth last year and 80% this year.
He said they would write about $800 million in loans a year.
In the first half of this year, the firm did $445 million.
Kumar said he was hoping for a second-half lift but the new LVR criteria for Auckland investors was having an impact on turnover, as were the new tax rules.
Kumar said his firm's successes were especially notable as GFS only had one office. "Other advisers with multiple offices have more capacity to do more. We are one building, one branch."
ASB's general manager business banking and retail specialist services Ian Boyce presented the award in recognition of the strong partnership between ASB and GFS.
