Squirrel wrote $800 million last year with Bolton saying it has come from “all over the market.”
While the Chinese market has slowed, they've seen major activity from first home buyers and many people upgrading their homes or looking to the regions to buy rental properties.
He says they’re growing as rapidly as a business with 45 staff, head office staff and IT so see the need to beef up the amount of capital they are investing.
Having bought Takapuna-based Aspire Advisers last year, they’re keen to duplicate that move throughout the rest of the country.
