Sources told TMM Online that Campbell left her role at Astute over a month ago, and the company finally confirmed her departure late last week.
Campbell's departure is not said to affect Mortgage Supply's partnership with Astute, which was agreed in March.
TMM has been unable to reach Campbell for comment, while Astute chief executive Sarah Johnston, the former boss of Mortgage Express, did not respond to requests for comment.
However a press release last week said: "Astute regretfully announces that Jenny Campbell has resigned from her role as National Sales Manager."
"Jenny has played an integral role in the growth and success of Astute in New Zealand."
Johnston will oversee the role until a new appointment is made.
Mortgage Supply struck a partnership deal with Astute four months ago in the face of new regulation. Astute agreed a joint venture deal with Mortgage Express last October.
Mortgage Supply's 20 advisers and non-branded advisers under NZMA agreed to become Astute advisers under the tie-up deal.
At the time of the deal, Campbell said Astute had the "complete package" for advisers.
The reason for Campbell's departure from Astute is unclear.
Sources say the major banks have given Mortgage Supply advisers until September to complete their transfer of accreditation to Astute.
The transfer process is said to have been more complicated and difficult than first anticipated for advisers, with a significant amount of paperwork required.
