The Opportunity:
NZHL Dunedin is a successful, well-established, and respected business who is after a self-starter to help more people in our community into financial freedom through providing quality financial advice. We need someone who networks, makes connections, builds relationships, and pursues opportunities.
About the role:
As a New Business Sales Consultant at NZHL, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop your own network of clients and learn how to provide them with a smart loan structure and tools so they can take control of their own financial wellbeing plus be part of a growing, life-changing business with the work that you do.
About you:
You will be a sharp hunter with an extensive existing network in the Dunedin and/or wider Otago region. You will be a self-starter with a determination to succeed, who enjoys connecting with people to build lasting professional relationships and who thrives in a role where you can demonstrate your passion to work for an authentic, purpose driven, and values led organisation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Relevant experience in the finance industry with Level 5 qualifications in Residential Property Lending essential. Life, Health & Disability Insurance qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Proven networking skills and the ability to build rapport and trust
- Track record in identifying, understanding, and exceeding client needs through building effective relationships
- Knowledge and experience of sales techniques and procedures
- Thrive on the opportunity to control your own earning potential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical reasoning & analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Be committed to learning how to help New Zealanders into a better financial position
