FMA CoFI help session
8 April 2024
The FMA is delivering a programme of additional support for smaller financial institutions to help them prepare their Fair Conduct Programmes and apply for their CoFI licence.
As well as undertaking a targeted programme of one-to-one engagement with these smaller institutions, it is running an online session to help institutions understand CoFI and what’s required to become licensed.
FMA Director – Deposit Taking, Insurance and Advice, Michael Hewes says institutions need to be making good progress and are urged to get their applications in as early as possible.
“This session is designed for those who are early in the process. It will have similar content to the introductory sessions we held last year and will be most relevant for smaller institutions.”
