ICNZ -The Empowered Consumer
27 August 2020
ICNZ’s 2020 Speaker Series will replace its annual conference this year, reflecting changes to how we learn and share ideas due to the spread of COVID-19
The series focuses on offering access to international and local experts to discuss the topics and issues that are affecting the sector both here in New Zealand and around the world. We are very much looking forward to bringing together a broad range of thought leaders to share their insights on important industry topics. Additionally, the series will also enable attendees to continue professional development with CPD credits earned for each webinar.
This webinar will be with Michael Koller (Director-General of Insurance Europe and Secretary General of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations), Pete Montgomery, Creative Director Xero
The remaining webinars are:
8 October – Insight into fraud in times of recession with Stephen Dalton, Head of Intelligence and Investigations (UK Insurance Fraud Bureau) and a speaker from the Regional Director National Insurance Crime Bureau in the US.
10 November – A deep-dive on the US Election - its global implications and the strategic challenges for insurance with Alistair Newton of Gartner just days after the US Election and Don Forgeron, Vice-President of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations.
26 November – The perfect storm: Our climate and NZ’s resilience into the future – speakers to be confirmed
