Mortgage Adviser Residential Property Lending Strand Course

A two-day course covering the Residential Property Lending Strand of the new Level 5 New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services. It provides an in-depth understanding of the residential property lending concepts, legislation and regulations that are of particular relevance to the provision of residential property lending services. It also considers the residential property market, and the relationship between residential property lending and individuals’ needs, to ensure appropriate solutions to borrowing needs. Key lending concepts and frameworks are applied to develop solutions for a range of lending situations. It should be considered the minimum education for anyone wanting to become a mortgage adviser, plus mortgage advisers wanting to upskill, and is recognised as the benchmark by major lending institutions in New Zealand.
