ACT has taken a wait-and-see approach to the Government's superannuation proposals.

"ACT accepts that superannuation is a serious issue. The Government proposals are radical - it will be a fundamental change.
"Details are very important. The coalition's proposal will affect New Zealanders for decades to come. ACT has decided to reserve judgement until we have seen all the details.
ACT also wants to see what the experts say. We believe Bill English's proposal for an independent panel of experts to appraise the scheme, has merit.
"The ACT caucus has accepted the Government's invitation to attend a briefing today and Michael Cullen's invitation to brief the ACT caucus later this week.
"New Zealanders don't need party politics, they need careful consideration of all relevant issues," said Hon Richard Prebble.
