Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) isn't big in New Zealand yet, but if international trends are anything to go by it will soon become far more popular with investors.
This month's issue of Asset magazine takes an in-depth look at SRI and what drives it. Also we look at what funds are on offer in New Zealand and where you can find them, plus we explain the different styles.
Asset, which will be available later this week, also examines the superannuation policies being promoted by the political parties in the lead up to next month's election.
We also speak to Financial Planner of the Year, Jordi Garcia about how he runs his business.
On the insurance side Asset looks at the agency agreements being offered by life companies to advisers, plus it has a Special Report on business insurance.
The 40 page magazine has all the regular features including Donal Curtin's markets column which looks at the flight of the dollar, a look at what the fund managers are buying and selling in the New Zealand market, book reviews, a crossword, and a situations vacant section.
Make sure you get your copy of Asset by subscribing now. You can order either online in the bookstore (
