Offers and offers
Several offers close this week including Liontamers GLOBAL Series 4 Fund and the South Canterbury Finance secured bond issue.
However there are a number of new offers in the market including ABN AMRO's Hindsight Securities, Macquarie's Celsius offer and Kauri Notes 2 from Savings and Loan.
Liontamer is calling its Series 4 fund the 'all-weather' fund because no matter what market conditions investors encounter during its term of five years, it is designed to produce a good result.
"The key is our new giga-booster units," Liontamer says, "which work to treble returns when markets underperform, while not limiting the upside potential. And if the worst happens and markets decline, then investors have the comfort of knowing that their original capital will be paid back to them at maturity."
