Southern Cross Building Society increased its two-year fixed home loan rate by 15 basis points to 6.35% and its three-year rate by 9 basis points to 6.99%.
Yesterday's National Bank business confidence survey has impacted on interest rate predictions, with the BNZ saying the prospects of further cuts to the OCR have now diminished.
