TSB has cut its two year fixed rate by 17 basis points to 6.68% which is the lowest two-year rate of all the banks and it has cut its four year rate by five basis points to 7.45%. PSIS has also reduced its two year rate by five basis points to 6.70%.
In news the Reserve Bank will pause in raising interest rates until March 2011 given near term growth risks and distant inflationary pressures according to the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research.
