Sovereign leads off changes

At last - action. Sovereign has knocked 15 basis points off all its fixed rate terms today, which brings its six month rate down to 5.85% and at the long end of the curve the five year rate comes down to 7.60%.
Although ASB and Bank Direct have not announced any changes we expect them to follow this morning.
