Private equity delivers

Private equity investments into unlisted New Zealand companies have, on average, doubled over the investment holding period.
Research by the NZ Venture Investment Fund says that 13 funds invested $1.36 billion into 92 companies in the 18 years up to 2012. Those investments returned $2.85 billion upon realisation and the annual rate of return over the period was 33.7%.
