Jobs shouldn’t be hard to come by in the insurance, fund management and wealth management industries, according to a new survey by recruitment firm Robert Walters.
“Given the uncertainty of the global economy, we expect organisations to take a cautious approach to recruitment in 2013. As a result, job levels are likely to remain relatively stable,” the company said of the New Zealand results from its Global Salary Survey.
“However, specific sectors - in particular, insurance, wealth management and funds management – will continue to hire staff because they haven’t been seriously affected by the downturn in the global economy.”
