AsiaHedge Awards have been handed out for the year and a number of managers operating in New Zealand scooped up accoldates.
Platinum Asset Management was named management firm of the year and won the Japan fund category.
PM Capital Absolute Performance Fund won the global equities award and K2 Asian Absolute Return fund took out the top place in the Asia and Japan catergory.
The nominations and winners are decided by a quantitative process based on outright returns and Sharpe ratios over the 12 months from September 2012 through to August 2013
