Magellan is launching a listed version of its highly successful global equity fund. The new Magellan Global Equities Fund is expected to debut on the ASX on March 5.
It will provide investors with exposure to the company's global equity strategy. Investors will have access to live market pricing and will be able to buy and sell the Fund's units in the secondary market in the same way, and with the same ease, as any ASX listed security.
As an Exchange Traded Managed Fund, the Magellan Global Equities Fund will be a pioneer, building on the trend towards exchange traded products. It will address the liquidity and pricing issues often associated with listed investment companies and should be attractive to the large and growing self-managed superannuation funds sector.
