Pine is a former AMP adviser who ran his own firm before becoming BDM for the Ginger Group.
After the Ginger/TNP merger, Pine set up his own consulting business, Pine Financial.
Gavin Austin said AB Compliance having a presence in Wellington would help advisers avoid the travel costs associated with using an Auckland-based compliance service.
“By having David available the costs to travel can be reduced by up to a third making the whole exercise more cost effective. The Strategic Alliance will allow AB Compliance to offer additional services in line with David’s skills in coaching of new advisers and helping small businesses grow to their full potential.”
Austin said more appointments would be announced in the next month as demand for AB Compliance’s services increases.
“We want to assure advisers we can deliver an economic, reliable and timely service to those who engage our compliance advice.”
