McGuffie charges dismissed

A Napier insurance broker has had charges against him dismissed.

David McGuffie

Napier broker David McGuffie was accused of dishonestly using a document, namely insurance application forms, without claim of right between February 2011 and July 2013.

The claims were to Pinnacle, Asteron, Tower and AIA.

McGuffie was the owner and founder of Advanced Insurance, which has been liquidated.

An application to dismiss his charges was granted on Tuesday.
