ASB has made a change to its management team and now has a new boss
Claire McKinnon is the General Manager Specialist Lending and Customer Experience at the bank and she will be responsible for the mortgage broker channel.
Former head, Ian Boyce, has moved fully into a role with business banking.
McKinnon, on her LinkedIn profile, describes herself as "a forward-thinking change catalyst, who clearly articulates vision and aligns people to deliver goals and growth."
"Over the years I have turned around the private bank business, resulting in the Top 2 ranking in market share. I have pioneered, designed, and set up the insurance distribution structure, strategy, and division for ASB in the role of an Area Manager. I constructed and executed the Premium Customer and Operating Model Strategy that led to increased market share, unique customer retention, and connectedness retention. I developed and rolled out the company-wide sales and services programme while continuously managing and improving the programme, and delivering a dramatic increase in sales, profit growth, asset growth, customer retention, and satisfaction rates."
