Julius Capilitan has been appointed General Manager of Home Loans for Century 21 New Zealand.
Capilitan has considerable retail and business banking experience including residential and commercial lending, insurance, and investments. He has held funds management and specialist roles at ANZ Bank, KiwiBank, AXA Group Investment, and the New Zealand Stock Exchange.
As General Manager of Home Loans for Century 21 New Zealand, he will run the real estate company’s home loans and financial services.
“We provide a comprehensive home loans service throughout the country as well as a full financial services’ offering. We’re helping clients who have low deposits through to those who want to build their property portfolios,” Capilitan says.
“What’s more we’re giving risk advice around the likes of key person cover, shareholder protection and business lump sum cover, and we’re advising our self-employed clients on ACC payments.”
He says being in the business of mortgage broking gives all Century 21 clients access to a wide range of lending deals, as well as greater borrowing flexibility, opportunity and choice than what traditional mainstream retail banks can offer.
“The big retail banks are generally still playing hard-ball when it comes to home loaning. However, we’re also working with smaller banks, credit unions and non-bank lenders which enables us to secure great results for the likes of first home buyers and investors.”
National Manager of Century 21 New Zealand, Geoff Barnett, says the company’s comprehensive home loans and full financial service helps cement Century 21 as a strong and growing real estate brand in New Zealand - building on its already world-famous brand and reputation for superior client service.
“We see this as a huge plus, having every Century 21 office not only providing great service but also having access to great lending deals and financial advice for Kiwis. It certainly strengthens our proposition in the local real estate marketplace,” says Mr Barnett.
