Big jump in Napier property values
Property values in Napier have increased strongly, especially at the top end of the market.

In the upmarket suburbs of Ahuriri, Westshore and the Napier Hill, the average value increase in the three years since the last revaluation was 19.5 per cent in capital value and 25.6 per cent in land value, Mr Nagel told the corporate business committee.
For houses in the city area as a whole, the average increases were 11.8 per cent for capital value and 18.5 per cent for land value.
