Rotorua innunated with holidaymakers
It's been a bumper holiday period for the central North Island with accommodation booked out, roads jammed with traffic, restaurants

No vacancy signs have been out at Rotorua's motels since Christmas
Day with many people having to be directed out of town to find beds.
Motel Association president Ian Johnston said a lot of potential guests
were arriving unannounced in Rotorua, in many cases only to be disappointed.
