Decision time on housing explosion
A decision is expected today on the Hingaia structure plan change that could allow housing to be built for up to 5000 people in the next 20 years.

Fifteen hectares will become a mixed use area, including a shopping complex, commercial properties and higher density housing.
Papakura District Council is also looking at plan changes to the surrounding area to cater for more residential and commercial properties.
