Third buyer emerges for Finance Centre
Can Capital Properties chief executive Chris Gudgeon succeed where two others have fallen?

That is the question being asked of the third attempt by Trans Tasman Properties to quit its Finance Centre buildings in the heart of Auckland.Gudgeon emerged on Friday as the third suitor for the buildings this year.
First came an anonymous buyer for the properties, but that deal fell over in March.
Then came the $101.15 million offer from wealthy unlisted Wellington financier St Laurence Group, whose managing director Kevin Podmore said last week that the purchase was the most complex his legal experts had seen.
