Site sought for hardware warehouse
Hardware giant Bunnings Warehouse has New Plymouth in its sights.

It just needs a place to land."It's only a lack of a suitable site that's holding us back," said Bunnings New Zealand general manager Brad Cranston.
Bunnings was seeking a two-hectare property to build a warehouse, slightly smaller than 11,000sqm. The construction would house a garden nursery, DIY retail hardware store, a covered drive-through for retail customers, and company offices.
Mr Cranston said Benchmark Building Supplies came under the Bunnings umbrella, so would be moved into the new building.
