Jones' settlement goes in ex-wife's favour
Former Richmastery head Phil Jones must pay his ex-wife $588,602.

The couple left for the United States four years ago and Corinna Jones departed the business 11 months later, when the couple split.
They have since been in court several times.
Judge Jeremy Doogue ruled in Mrs Jones’ favour earlier this month, according to reports. Jones did not contest the judgement, which included $124,821 in interest and $41,924 in costs.
Associate Judge Doogue said in his decision Jones had applied to the Family Court to set aside the couple's relationship property settlement agreement, then abandoned those proceedings.
Corrina Jones’ application was based on an agreement signed in California when the pair left New Zealand to set up their American business, the Presidential Inner Circle USA LLC.
In a summary judgement case that went before Associate Judge Tony Christiansen in the Auckland High Court in August 2010, Mrs Jones claimed she’d been pressured to sign a settlement agreement under which she was ousted from the Presidential Inner Circle and all of Mr Jones’ companies, with clearance of her credit card debt and her company tax bills, plus 15 monthly payments of $US1000.
The agreement said Jones did not have to pay alimony or child support.
