NZ Property Investors Federation President Andrew King said there had been ongoing problems with organising mediation and Tribunal hearings around the country.
“The NZPIF has been having discussions with the Minister of Housing and officials to improve the situation but want to establish if they are having a positive effect.”
The Federation will run a survey every three months to monitor how well service is being provided by the Tenancy Tribunal and Mediation. Any one with experience with either during those three months is asked to participate.
Survey results will be used in discussions with Government on how well the system is working and what improvements can be made.
