Financial Advice NZ to support advisers through licensing
Financial Advice NZ won’t apply for a licence under the new advice regime but will look for ways to help its members into the new regime.

It has been suggested that some advisers may fall through the cracks if they do not want to take a licence themselves but do not want to work under the umbrella of another organisation.
Financial Advice NZ chief executive Katrina Shanks said the association would not take a licence, but it would develop resources to help members through the process.
“We have started a number of webinars and will be producing a workbook.”
