Dodson produces aftermarket dual clutch transmission components for high-end and performance vehicles such as Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Lamborghini. The deal allows them to build on their rapid growth through investment in new facilities, acquisition of suppliers and further supply chain benefits.
“We want to maintain our position of being a global leader in the modified performance vehicle sector. Tahi’s investment enables us to grow through speed to market and create more jobs here in New Zealand,” said owner Harry Dodson.
“This investment will allow us to relocate to an enhanced fit-for-purpose facility, purchase new plant equipment and increase the level of research and development in New Zealand rather than rely on offshore development.”
