The non-bank has appointed Ashlene Prasad as BDM as it adds to its New Zealand sales team. She will be based in Auckland.
Prasad was formerly a Sydney-based BDM for Liberty.
Before her spell at Liberty, Prasad worked for Westpac in Sydney as a credit manager. Before that, she worked as an underwriter for ANZ's broker unit in Auckland.
According to her LinkedIn page, Prasad has also worked for a host of other financial institutions, including GE Capital and Kiwibank.
Resimac is close to appointing another Auckland-based BDM in the coming weeks. It comes after it hired the experienced Ben Jamieson in Christchurch in May.
Luke Jackson, head of Resimac New Zealand, said Prasad would focus on central, east, and south Auckland.
“We are thrilled to have Ashlene back in New Zealand as part of the Resimac team. Her specific knowledge of the Auckland mortgage market will be invaluable to us," Jackson said.
Prasad added: "I am excited about joining Resimac and helping the New Zealand adviser industry diversify and grow by leveraging the opportunities created by non-bank lending.”
