Warning for insurers
The outlook for the Asia Pacific regions’ life insurers has been revised to negative by S&P Global Ratings.

The research house said the outbreak of Covid-19 would exacerbate existing weaknesses in the industry.
Life insurers were more at risk, particularly if they had thin capital buffers and significant exposure to financial market volatility through their asset portfolios or product offerings.
