First Mortgage Managers has appointed Paul Bendall to the top job.
Bendall joined First Mortgage Trust in August 2020 as general manager and boasts two decades' worth of experience in the banking, property, and finance sectors.

Paul has spent the last 12 months working closely with the current CEO Tony Kinzett and the board and has a thorough understanding of the business and shares our vision and goals for the future of FMT.”
Bendall said it is a great honour and responsibility to take over the reins of the company.
"First Mortgage Trust is going from strength to strength. We have over $1 billion funds under management and we have recently surpassed $1 billion in loans for the first time.
"We have a great team of people, who really focus on the needs of our clients and I’m truly excited to lead the business into the future.”
Bendall takes over on September 3.
The retiring Kinzett said; “The Board members and I have enormous confidence in Paul and I will be continuing to work closely with him over the next couple of months as I transition out of the company.”
“We would like to thank Tony for his leadership over the years and everything he has achieved as CEO, and we look forward to this new chapter under Paul’s very capable leadership,” said Smith.
